Is This Really The Support You Were Looking For?

Would you really want a former multiple-failed presidential contender, who was panned by the conservatives in your party to come out and give you rousing support?

As Jim Hoft at The Gateway Pundit puts it:
Mitt Romney is accepting an endorsement from Arizona Sen. John McCain, the 2008 Republican presidential nominee.
Look for a big bump in the polls. Not.
I think if I was trying to impress the Republican party that I was not a RINO like they fear and that I was their answer to fix this nation's image and spending problems, I would not want the king of RINOs giving me his resounding endorsement.

Meanwhile, Sen McCain considers these caucuses and debates to be pesky.
Just two days after the first votes in the race to pick a Republican presidential nominee, Sen. John McCain says it’s time to wrap things up.

McCain, who endorsed Mitt Romney to be the GOP nominee a day earlier, says Republicans need to “get this thing done with as quickly as possible and get into the main event.”

Yeah. Thanks to failed vetting and the lack of truly examining the candidates and their positions, we got Obama last time. Do we really want to do away with that vetting process altogether?
