From Fox News regarding the earthquake in Japan and its impacts upon their largest Nuclear Reactor:
In following days, TEPCO — Japan's largest power company — released a list of 50 malfunctions, damages and mistakes, announced that radioactive materials had spewed from an exhaust vent, and had to acknowledge the water leak contained 50 percent more radioactivity than initially reported. The list was later updated to 63 cases.

The company was further embarrassed on Thursday when yet another leak was discovered from an exhaust vent, indicating leaks continued as late as Wednesday night, nearly three days after the quake.

OH MY. Does this mean that the Japanese are all going to die or start glowing a nice neon glow?? Does this mean that the nuclear power energy will have to shut down like what happened after 3 Mile Island??
TEPCO, regulators and even environmentalists agreed the amounts of radioactivity involved were minuscule and posed no threat.
Guess not. So, if the releases were "minuscule and posed no threat" then what is all the huge irate noise about??
But the most damaging result from the troubles was the realization that the world's largest nuclear power plant was not structurally equipped to withstand such a powerful earthquake — this despite Japan's long history as one of the most seismically active places on Earth.
WOW.. so, these reactors that were built on earthquake prone areas and were not built to withstand even the slightest earthquake?? Now, isnt' that the stupidest thing in the world?
Until last year, Japan had required plants to be built to withstand a 6.5-magnitude quake. In September, the government began implementing tougher guidelines, though they have not set a fresh magnitude level.
Oh wait!! You mean these reactors were built to withstand a 6.5 and that is they were built to? You mean they were built to withstand a 6.5 and then got hit with a 6.8 quake but yet only suffered minor damages and released only minuscule and non-life threatening releases?? So what the freak is all the hub-bub about? Why is everyone so upset?

Sure, the power company should have come out sooner and described what really happened and taken further steps to limit releases that occurred days after the quake. But it takes time to inspect and look over every nut and bolt on a reactor complex that is the largest in the world. Don't ya think???!?!?

So, after the plant survived a quake of 6.8, though built with proper code to withstand quakes of 6.5, what to the controllers think of the situation???
Regulators acknowledge they need to take a fresh look at the rules.

Wow. Pretty bold statement that flies in the face of reality. Now. Why do they need to take a look at the rules?? How about an expert opinion....
Katsuhiko Ishibashi, earthquake specialist at Kobe University's Research Center for Urban Safety and Security, said one problem is that scientists are unable to pinpoint fault lines with any accuracy.

"This situation clearly showed the insufficiency of the old guidelines for examining the seismic design of nuclear power plants," he said, arguing no plant could survive a direct hit from an earthquake.
HUH? Because no plant can survive a direct hit from an earthquake, then we should not be building nuclear plants? In that case, we should not build homes and cities cause they could be hit by a direct earthquake anywhere in the world. What a friggin idiot!!!

So, knowing that Japan IS ONE BIG HUGE EARTHQUAKE FAULT, this one nuclear complex that sustained "damage" shows that they should not build nuclear plants in Japan, right?
Japan has 55 reactors producing about 30 percent of its electricity, with plans to build another 11 reactors by 2017, eventually boosting nuclear power's share of electricity production to 40 percent.
Wait. Japan has 55 reactors and only this one plant suffered some form of "damage?" COME ON!!! Only one in the whole country had any form of damage. Ok, I guess then that they were all built with bad designs and Japan has no ambition to make adequate changes and modifications in the future, right?
Down the road, the government is pushing for development of next generation light water reactors around 2030, and so-called "fast-breeder" reactors that produce plutonium that can be reused as fuel, fulfilling a Japanese dream of energy self-sufficiency.

OK. Now that we see how safe these plants are, what does the reporter feel bout the future of nuclear plants in Japan??
The problems at Kashiwazaki could make that expansion even more difficult. While many Japanese understand the need for energy to power the world's second-largest economy, they are hesitant to trust operators.

"It is impossible to guarantee 100 percent safety," conceded Yumi Shimoda, a 40-year-old marketing consultant in Tokyo. "But what scares me is the fact that they tried to cover up the truth in order to claim safety."
What friggin IDIOTS.

Bush protects terrorists more so than the dem sympathizers

From Breitbart News:

President Bush signed an executive order governing interrogation of terrorism suspects, prohibiting cruel and inhumane treatment , humiliation or denigration of prisoners' religious beliefs.
so, when we capture al-queda terrorists, we must respect their religious beliefs, not humiliate them or even speak mean to them. How in the world are we to get the information out of their heads? How are we to make them fear us? If we are unable to force confessions and knowledge of terrorist activities out of these most vile of meat-bags, then what good is it to even fight a war. Let's just surrender now.
The order targets captured al-Qaida terrorists who have information on attack plans or the whereabouts of the group's senior leaders. "Last September, the president explained how the CIA's program had disrupted attacks and saved lives, and that it must continue on a sound legal footing," White House press secretary Tony Snow said. "The president has insisted on clear legal standards so that CIA officers involved in this essential work are not placed in jeopardy for doing their job—and keeping America safe from attacks."
So, in other words, since surrender has worked to make them give us information, then we are going to surrender more and more cause that is sound legal footing. And why is it sound legal footing????

The Supreme Court had ruled in June 2006 that trying detainees in military tribunals violated U.S. and international law...
So, because the Supreme Court made a most bone-headed illegal ruling that said we can not try people caught during military actions can not be tried in military courts, Pres Bush wants us to truly give in to their most villainous desires and whims.

Oh, but he says he did not agree with the ruling, but yet he continues to snivel and drivel at the whims and whimsies of our most vilest of enemies.

How can we possibly even hope to defeat our enemies if we continue to surrender and cave to the fancies of our liberal enemies.

But you say, preventing torture is a good moral thing. Well, yes, but it depends on what level you place torture. According to Bush, torture and murder are on the same level morally.

The White House did not detail what types of interrogation procedures, such as waterboarding, would be allowed.

But it did offer parameters, saying any conditions of confinement and interrogation practices could not include:

_Torture or other acts of violence serious enough to be considered comparable to murder, torture, mutilation and cruel or inhumane treatment.

_Acts intended to denigrate the religion, religious practices, or religious objects of an individual.

House votes to allow $1 million to go to nonexistent company

From Politico.com:
Republican Rep. Jeff Flake of Arizona, the fiscal crusader who's never met an earmark he likes, questioned Democratic Rep. Peter J. Visclosky of Indiana on the House floor Tuesday about whether the Center for Instrumented Critical Infrastructure actually exists - since, hey, it's getting like a million bucks or something.

Visclosky, who chairs the spending subcommittee responsible for the project, had to admit that, well, he didn't have a clue.
The man who is in charge of where the money goes has no clue..... brilliant. Next?
...Flake asked, "Does the center currently exist?"

"At this time, I do not know," the Indiana Democrat replied. "But if it does not exist, the monies could not go to it."
Ok... that is good. This dem sounds like he might have some brains after all. He sounds like he would be willing to pull this bill out since it funds a fake company. Cause, after all, that would be illegal, right? That would be wrong, right?

Ok, let's see how this all turned out shall we?
And who could possibly be the sponsor of such an earmark? Yes, you guessed it, the man Republicans love to hate, Pennsylvania Democrat John P. Murtha.

Despite the money's uncertain destination, the House rejected Flake's measure to strike the funds, 326-98. And the Visclosky bill also sailed through, 312-112.
Yep. Just under half of the republicans in the House voted to fund the bill, while more than half voted to assure the rejection of Rep. Flake's measure. Get that! Even if all the Repubs had voted as one to remove Murtha's bill, it still would have passed, but at least they would have been conservative in their principles. As it stands, HALF of the repubs in the House are dems in character and rhino in name.

True Republicans are conservative by nature and by character. True Conservatives would have never allowed our budget to have bloomed to gigantinormous proportions. True Conservatives would refuse to fund pet projects that should be left to the constituents and private industry.

But alas, our country is infested with morons who believe the Congress and our government has nothing but good in its actions and that its only intent is to help the downtrodden. what idiots.

Pres Bush Supports Terrorists

President Bush just announced on live TV that he will give Abbas and the Palestinians over $190 million dollars in order that they create businesses and return to peace. He called upon Hamas to recognize Israel's right to exist and expected that Gaza not to be used as a place to attack Israel.

Pres. Bush has the full liberal derangement syndrome. It appears that he fully believes giving money and weapons to Palestinians will get them to do what HE wants them to do. We who are parents know that that kind of reward/discipline plan never works. The child/villain sees a reward given during a time when they are acting out as a reward for that action. It is not seen as an incentive to behave better.

Pres. Bush called upon the Palestinian government to enforce laws and end corruption. hahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahhaaaa

Here is an idea..... how about fully supporting the defense of Israel and DEFEAT the Palestinians.

Edwards turns to treason to get him into office

From the Int Herald Tribune:
The United States needs help from Syria and Iran in stabilizing Iraq, Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards said Saturday. He also called the Iraqi prime minister a weak leader.

Edwards again said that if he were president today, he would immediately reduce the number of U.S. troops in Iraq by about 50,000.
So, a presidential hopeful has called upon our sworn enemies and the #1 enemy of Israel to lend assistance in the country they are currently trying to overthrow. And, in addition, he wants to reduce the world's greatest fighting force by 50,000 (which surprisingly enough is about the number used during our latest surge in troop force). So, he wants more Iranian and Syrian influence and less American influence in Iraq. All the while calling the Iraqi PM "weak".

WOW. Talk about a huge foreign policy advocate. He really knows how to support our allies and those who need our help. Edward's plan: sell them down the river to radical islam.
The former senator told reporters that the U.S. "should be making our own evaluation about the circumstances in Iraq"
What a blithering idiot. HELLO?!?!! Someone turn his brain on. We have an "evaluation" coming in September and an interim report either just came out or is due out really soon that the US produced about the most recent effects of the war on terror in Iraq. What a looser.

When are we going to start punishing our members of Congress for TREASON?!?! And short of that, when are we going to start censuring members of Congress when they elevate our enemies above their own country.

Here is the kicker......
Other countries in the region, including U.S. foes Iran and Syria, must become involved in Iraq's future, Edwards said. "We need to engage them directly into helping to stabilize Iraq."
So, he admits that Iran and Syria are our enemies, but he still insists that they should be actively engaged to help "stabilize" Iraq. HELLO YOU FRUITLOOP!!! It is because of Iran and Syria that Iraq is not stabilized. They want that country. They want to take it out of the hands of free arabs. They want to place their own evil sadistic control over these people who have just now tasted freedom.

Mr. Edwards. How long did our country fight within itself before peace ensued?? Have you seen peaceful Iran lately? Its people are near-rioting in the streets. A coup' is sure to come in due time. If not, then Iran will act out in aggression towards its people and those around it (Israel) in order to keep the fires of hatred flaming.

When the ignorant teach ignorance!

From Richmond News:
Graduates from Richmond's Binford Middle School get a diplomalike certificate, signed by the teacher and principal.

It is ringed by six graphic marks, including icons of a notebook, an apple, the school mascot and such. Then there is a picture of a man. And who is this icon of American education?

Not John Dewey or Horace Mann, both of whom were called fathers of American education. It's not Thomas Jefferson or Benjamin Franklin or George Washington, either.

Nor is it even James H. Binford, the first superintendent of Richmond Public Schools, for whom the school was named when it opened in 1915.

This picture looks a little like Albert Einstein, perhaps. Or maybe Frederick Douglass.
...
Wait a minute. . . .

It's Karl Marx!
Yep. A picture of Communism's fathers was used as the means of expressing accomplishments for the Middle School's kids. Granted, these kids probably don't even know who Karl Marx is. But, don't you think it is rather "telling" that a photo of one of Communism's greatest founders is now being used within the public school system on signed diplomas? Are they now coming out of the closet??

Well, there are a few excuses flying around that we need to examine. The first comes from the principal. Enjoy...
Binford Principal Juanita Nicholson said yesterday that she had not known the photo was of Marx or the reason for its use.

She agreed it was an odd choice.

Nicholson said one of the teachers on a committee apparently had done it. "I'm not sure . . . she even knew who it was."
So, she signs these diplomas and has no idea about what she is signing or its contents? Hmm. Note to teachers - time to request an increase in your class budget because your boss has no idea what she is willingly signing.

Next excuse comes from the school's spokesperson. (a school system has a spokesperson??)
Richmond schools spokeswoman Felicia Cosby called last night to explain: "She really thought she was capturing clip art representing Frederick Douglass. She did a search to pull up Frederick Douglass and this is what came up . . . with the beard and the hair."

Hold on. Wait a minute. One was a German philosopher, the other an African-American slave who became a leading abolitionist.
You see, Frederick Douglass was a black slave who later turned into an avid and effective abolitionist in his time. Karl Marx was a white man who wrote the "Communist Manifesto"! that led to the deaths of millions.

If they knew enough to do a search for Mr. Douglass, then they should have known enough what he looks like. Right?!? This is a school, right?!?!? And, I take it that the final version of the diploma was not sent for approval before anyone signed it?? Again, this comes to the principal who is the BOSS of the school and the teachers and was one of the person's signing the diplomas. Thus, she is ultimately the one responsible.
The teacher, the school and the school system "apologize profusely if this image offended parents and children alike," Cosby said. "But it was not intentional to put an image of Karl Marx up." It will be taken off in the future, she said.
"...IF this image offended"?!?!? How would they have worded that statement if they had put a picture of a KKK dude on there? Or how about Hitler's mug?? Would they still apologize if anyone was perhaps offended????? It may have not been intentional, but stating that as such makes me curious to think it might have been just that. I don't apologize by saying it was not intentional. I apologize by saying it was an accident.

"It will be taken off in the future..." Ummm.. how about taking it off now!?!? How about sending out replacement diplomas? Or, are you leaving us to believe that those offended should just live with their offense?

Ok.. just so you can rest assured.. here are some pics of Mr. Douglass

And here are some pics of the notorious Mr. Marx...

Israel's Leaders Have Gone INSANE

From Fox News link:
RAMALLAH, West Bank — Scores of Fatah militants in the West Bank have signed a pledge renouncing attacks against Israel in return for an Israeli promise to stop pursuing them, a Palestinian security official said Sunday.

The deal would grant amnesty to 178 Fatah gunmen who will join the official Palestinian security forces, and Israel will remove them from its lists of wanted militants...
Sounds like more of the same liberal crap-trap that has always led to the demise of freedoms and safety. Want proof??? OK...
An official in Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's office confirmed the deal would extend to wanted militants who openly renounce terrorism...
"Ok, little muhammed. As long as you promise to be good, then you can come over and play with us. If you promise to be nice, then we will give you more guns and money." The insanity of these liberals across the globe will lead to our deaths at the hands of evil radical muslims. Olmert is, once again, inviting the wolves into his den.
The moderate president set up a Fatah-led government in the West Bank after his rivals from the Islamic group Hamas seized control of the Gaza Strip in mid-June. Israel and the international community back Abbas in his struggle against Hamas.
"moderate"???? HAHAHAHAHAAA... I think it has been shown time and time again that Fatah is anything but moderate. The only way this guy and the Fatah anti-Israel party can be seen as moderate is when it is compared to HAMAS. Sure, we would want a less evil entity living next to Israel than to have a purely evil entity in the form of Hamas living next to Israel. But the problem is, that many in Fatah and Hamas constantly switch parties. And the security forces within each party are constantly switching from protecting their people to using them as human shields during their shootouts with Israel every other day. None of them can be trusted to work with Israel to keep the peace towards Israel, let alone keep the peace between Palestinians.
And in another gesture of support, Israel agreed to Abbas' request to allow Nayef Hawatmeh, an exiled Palestinian militant leader, to enter the West Bank this week for a meeting of a top Palestine Liberation Organization policy-making body, a step that Abbas hopes will provide him added legitimacy among Palestinians.

Hawatmeh heads the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, a small and nearly forgotten PLO faction best known for commandeering a school in the northern Israeli town of Maalot in 1974. The attack left 24 Israelis dead, most of them children...
Need any more proof that Israel is signing its own death warrants? Allowing known child killers and terrorists amnesty to move about freely to meet with another party that seeks Israel's destruction is just asking for more attacks. If you think Abbas is moderate, then why on Earth would you allow a pure evil terrorist to meet with him? Does Israel really believe that Abbas will moderate the Jew-hating radicals? Yes, they do, unfortunately.

And this lunacy will only continue until Israel sees the light and returns to the Lord. As long as Israel believes that it can go it alone in this world, and embrace the world's sins, then Israel will continue to be shunned by GOD. Israel must return to him in prayer and in supplication for forgiveness and protection.

Hindu Prayer, part 2

From CNSNEWS:
Zed has previously offered prayers to open sessions of the Nevada State Assembly and Nevada State Senate in March and May of this year respectively. Zed, a U.S. citizen originally from India, said he has not finalized the prayer but that it will likely quote Hindu scriptures including the Rig Veda, the Upanishads, and the Bhagavad-Gita.

He said he plans to start and end the prayers with "'OM,' the mystical syllable containing the universe, which in Hinduism is used to introduce and conclude religious work."

"I believe that despite our philosophical differences, we should work together for the common objectives of human improvement, love, and respect for others," Zed said.
From OneNewsNow:
WallBuilders president David Barton is questioning why the U.S. government is seeking the invocation of a non-monotheistic god. Barton points out that since Hindus worship multiple gods, the prayer will be completely outside the American paradigm, flying in the face of the American motto "One Nation Under God."

"In Hindu, you have not one God, but many, many, many, many, many gods," the Christian historian explains. "And certainly that was never in the minds of those who did the Constitution, did the Declaration [of Independence] when they talked about Creator -- that's not one that fits here because we don't know which creator we're talking about within the Hindu religion."

Barton says given the fact that Hindus are a tiny constituency of the American public, he questions the motivation of Senate leaders.
From Christian Post something sickening....:

Christian senators, in response, have expressed their approval of the event because it reflects the right to free speech in the government body.

“July 12 will be an illustrious day for all Americans,” explained Zed in a statement, “and a memorable day for Indian Americans when prayers from ancient Hindu scriptures will be read in the great hall of democracy.”

Indian Abroad seems to think we Christians are the crazy zealots instead:

A few Christian fundamentalists protested and began screaming, while holding the Bible aloft, "Lord Jesus, protect us from this abomination." Officers from the Sergeant of Arms' office ejected one after the other (three were taken away) from the Senate gallery which looks down on the floor. A Senate aide said these people probably had gotten visitor's passes to the Senate gallery through a Senator's office and noted that "disrupting a Senate in the chamber is a criminal offense and they can be arrested."

Hindu Priest prays in Senate for opening prayers

A Hindu Priest prayed the opening prayer today to open the Senate floor. He prayed for meditation to a nondescript deity of unknown origin. From Fox News:
Rajan Zed, director of interfaith relations at a Hindu temple in Reno, Nev., gave the brief prayer that opens each day's Senate session.
ZED?!?!?
For several days, the Mississippi-based American Family Association has urged its members to object to the prayer because Zed would be "seeking the invocation of a non-monotheistic god."
More than enough reason to not allow this travesty immoral ungodly act to have occurred. Why not let a wiccan witch get up there and pray to the tree and rock gods!?!?!?
Zed, the first Hindu to offer the Senate prayer, began: "We meditate on the transcendental glory of the Deity Supreme, who is inside the heart of the Earth, inside the life of the sky and inside the soul of the heaven. May He stimulate and illuminate our minds."
Christian senators should have risen up in rage and walked out of the senate chambers. This act was a vile act from Sen. Harry Reid to further undermine the nation that was founded on and in the belief of GOD, the one and only GOD.

He added...
"Lead us from the unreal to real, from darkness to light, and from death to immortality. May we be protected together. May we be nourished together. May we work together with great vigor. May our study be enlightening. May no obstacle arise between us."

Seeking the blessings of god on behalf of and for the Senators, Zed declared, "May the Senators strive constantly to serve the welfare of the world, performing their duties with the welfare of others always in mind. Because by devotion to selfless work one attains the supreme goal of life. May they work carefully and wisely, guided by compassion, and without though for themselves."

"United your resolve, united your hearts, may your spirits be at one, that you may long dwell in unity and concord!" he added, and ended with, "Peace, peace, peace be unto all."

Hey, blow it out your worm-hole you pagan! I'm sorry. But to seek immortality and glory based on works it antithetical to the Christian beliefs.

Zed, who was born in India, was invited by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev. Speaking in the chamber shortly after the prayer, Reid defended the choice and linked it to the war debate.

"If people have any misunderstanding about Indians and Hindus," Reid said, "all they have to do is think of Gandhi," a man "who gave his life for peace."

"I think it speaks well of our country that someone representing the faith of about a billion people comes here and can speak in communication with our heavenly Father regarding peace," said Reid, a Mormon...

And yet, Ghandi didn't get into politics or make political machinations. He went for peace. He moved for love. He did not make political statements using religion to push his political agenda like Sen Harry Reid.

How can allowing a Hindu Priest to pray to another god, be any way linkable to a debate on the need to fight terrorist?

AND SEN. REID, ZED DID NOT "COMMUNICATE" WITH "OUR HEAVENLY FATHER"!!!!!! And, I don't know who your heavenly father is, but the Hindu's "father" is not the Father and Lord of the Christian faith. To believe that all religions pray to the same GOD above is sheer ignorance, stupidity and heresy. You sir should be excommunicated from your religion. A religion by the way that follows a man that heard voices from a fallen angel. So, it is obvious that your religion prays to a god that is not the same GOD of Christians.

Again, Christian senators should have risen up and walked out if they truly believed in and were defenders of their faith.

hahahaahahahahahaha,, and of course, they had to get the most anti-christian man to defend the attack on the Christian faith. Who did they get you ask???
Barry W. Lynn, executive director of Americans United for Separation of Church and State, said the protest "shows the intolerance of many religious right activists. They say they want more religion in the public square, but it's clear they mean only their religion."
Heck yeah. We don't want demonists, witches, demonologists, pagans, and other non-Christian faiths pushing their beliefs upon unsuspecting people looking for a belief in something. We don't want to have it seem that all religions are the same and OK. Not all religions are OK. Not all beliefs can co-exist with the Christian ideology that his nation was founded upon.

Woman almost dies from bikini wax?

From Fox News.. again:
'Brazilian' bikini waxes are increasingly popular among women who live nowhere near the bikini-clad beaches of Rio de Janeiro. For one 20-year-old woman in Melbourne, Australia, this routine procedure nearly took her life.

The woman was admitted to an emergency room just two weeks after receiving a the Brazilian bikini wax, a procedure that involves removing even more hair front-to-back than a traditional bikini wax, according to the Brief Report published online in the June issue of the journal of Clinical Infectious Diseases.

"Our case is notable, because it illustrates the infectious risks of pubic hair removal in a patient with diabetes," the authors concluded. "The beauty industry is growing at an unprecedented rate and more invasive and potentially harmful procedures are increasingly available."
WOW... so, getting a bikini wax makes diabetes worse? Really? So, getting pubic hair pulled is far deadlier than over/under-eating sugar? Read on:
While the patient experienced "significant pain" (ed. which is normal isn't for a huge brazillian bikini wax?) and some bleeding (ed. which is normal when pulling out huge chunks of hair and folicles?) during the procedure, which was performed by a trainee beauty therapist, her health had taken a sharp turn for the worse by the time she sought medical attention.

According to the report, the young woman had poorly controlled type 1 diabetes. She was admitted to the hospital with a high fever, excruciating pain, "grossly swollen" genitalia, and a rash across her chest and neck.

The woman's pain was so intense and the inflammation so severe that doctors were barely able to examine her in the emergency room. Eventually, the doctors were able to take blood samples and cultures, which came back positive for the potentially life-threatening bacteria, Streptococcus pyogenes.
And now.... she actually almost died from a bacterial infection!! This had nothing to do with her diabetes. Well, granted, her lack of treating her diabetes did not contribute to a healthy immune system, but just pulling out hairs will not cause a bacterial infection. But, you know what will???? When you open up so many holes into your system and those holes are located right around your groin, it can't be a healthy place. And, since she failed to treat her diabetes, what you wanna bet she did not keep her groin clean either.

NO? Not following that line of reasoning? Read on please:
The patient's weakened immune system put her at risk when she underwent the hot-wax procedure, which caused the infection. A more complete exam, done under general anesthetic, revealed the woman was infected with herpes simplex.
SO, she she had failed to treat her Type 1 diabetes, failed to keep her groin clean... she also had HERPES!!!!! Now, that is one healthy woman, huh. Now, who's fault do you think it is? Still not fully convinced that this had nothing to do with the beauty shop? Keep reading on....
She was discharged after 10 days in the hospital after a steady regimen of antibiotics and other medications that saved her life. While she had regained her health, she had not learned her lesson.

Six months later, the woman again tried to remove her pubic hair, but this time she was shaving herself. She subsequently developed a recurrence of herpes and another skin infection.

She was treated again successfully, but the report noted that, "despite her traumatic experiences, the patient was keen to undertake further removal of pubic hair."
Again, you can see how this woman had more wrong with her than just her sick need to shave her groin. Perhaps a good psychotherapist is in order?

Mayor bans outdoor grilling

From Fox News site:

CANONSBURG, Pa. — The mayor of Canonsburg caused constituents to get a little hot by banning outdoor grilling at night, but he then rescinded the order Thursday and said he was only trying to close a loophole in the borough burning ordinance.

Mayor Anthony Colaizzo issued an executive order Monday outlawing all recreational burning until further notice. He also tacked on a ban on grilling after 8 p.m.

The measure drew angry rebukes from some of Canonsburg's 8,800 residents.

"There are many more things that need to be watched other than if I make a hot dog or a piece of kielbasa after 8," said resident Rose Terkey, 51.

Colaizzo said Thursday that he added the grilling ban because some people who burn refuse or other items at night make sure they're holding food over the flames so they can claim an exception for "recreational burning" when police arrive.

"They put on a wiener or a marshmallow or something like that, and my boys can't do anything to stop it," Colaizzo said.

"We don't have a very affluent community," Colaizzo said. "A lot (of people) don't even have air conditioning and a lot of them can't sleep with the windows open at night because of the fumes from recreational burning and the grilling."

If your community is not very affluent, then I guess they dont have the money to pay for consistent trash pickup. And, it sounds like this is a small town where alot of people burn their trash out back behind the house. And, why would it be illegal to burn trash and burn-piles?

If he wanted to ban burn-piles, then make it only permissible by permit when the fire is not within a confined firepit or container. No free-fires larger than 2 feet in diameter and 2 feet high. Seems simple enough to me. But no, these eco-nazis have to sneek in bans for things that have been a part of the American way of life.

Taxing the Carbon Cycle

From this article:

"Oil-sand, oil-shale, and coal-to-oil projects — alternative fuel sources that could enhance U.S. energy security — have always faced one hurdle: They look good only when oil prices are high. Now, they have another challenge: global warming.

California has enacted new climate-change policies that make energy companies responsible for the carbon emissions not just of their refineries but all phases of oil production, including extraction and transportation. If that notion catches on — at least two Canadian provinces have already signed on to California's plan — then the futures of oil-sand, shale, and coal-to-oil projects may look less attractive.

The reason: Extracting these alternative sources of oil requires so much energy that their "carbon footprint" may outweigh their benefits. "

What in the world will limiting "carbon" usage do to "reduce" global warming? Don't these people realize that volcanos throw up more carbon among various other chemicals that do far more to warming this planet than we ever could? How does carbon in of itself warm our planet?

Haven't these people heard of the carbon cycle? Carbon is neither created nor destroyed. It revolves throughout our various ecosystems through a fairly simple process. Limiting the usage of carbon will do nothing to stop heat trapping chemicals and molecules from being emitted up into the atmosphere.

But then, that is if you believe man is solely responsible for the warming of our planet.

To limit, or charge, for the use and modification of carbon-containing products will only drive our economy into the 4th world. Everything, EVERYTHING, we use and do is based on the carbon cycle. When you breathe, you are moving carbon. When you eat a uncaged chicken sandwhich made with pure wheat, you are involved with the moving of carbon through the carbon cycle.

To make every single aspect of our lives a taxable offense is shear lunacy and highly questionable. We need to send another clear message to our Congress that taxing the carbon cycle (in some cases multiple times) is the worst thing they can do to this country. This move, again, would drive up the call for foreign oil supplies as they would be produced oversees and thus immune from the US carbon tax. Want to drive up fuel prices to $10 per gallon, have gasoline rationed, and ship out more oil field jobs??? Vote Democrat!!

The True Star Spangled Banner

Oh! say, can you see, by the dawn’s early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight,
O’er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?

And the rocket’s red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof thro’ the night that our flag was still there.
Oh! say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave,
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

On the shore, dimly seen thro’ the mist of the deep,
Where the foe’s haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, o’er the towering steep.
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?

Now it catches the gleam of the morning’s first beam,
In full glory reflected, now shines on the stream
‘Tis the star-spangled banner. Oh! long may it wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

And where is that band who so vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war and the battle’s confusion
A home and a country should leave us no more?
Their blood has washed out their foul footstep’s pollution.

No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight, or the gloom of the grave,
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

And here I think is the best section of all, a section that we need now more than ever to be sung...

Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved homes and the war’s desolation,
Blest with vict’ry and peace, may the Heav’n - rescued land
Praise the Pow’r that hath made and preserved us a nation.

Then conquer we must, for our cause is just,
And this be our motto–”In God is our trust.”
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave.
