How to Pay The Light Bill Free

I just love Cox And Forkum.
The cartoons are hilarious and to the point.

Here is one of their most recent ones...

This is so true to be scary. But, we have been here before. Over 10 years ago, Pres Clinton agreed to pay for and construct several nuclear power generation facilities for North Korea in return for their promise to stop their attempts to build a nuclear bomb. Well, guess what. It didn't work then and it won't work now.

North Korea worked all those years in secure secret facilities building up their nuclear technology to the point where they exploded a small nuclear device in 2006. And now we are expecting them to once again give up their most desirous of power.

So, if you are a country whose soul purpose is control, fear and selling technology, would the promise of free fuel lead you to give all of that up?? If you are a country who is so paranoid to the point you think a vast and huge nation wants to take over your pea-sized country, would the promise of fuel change that?

Not in the least. Look for more secret work to be undertaken.

Sen. Clinton Pays To Get Black Votes

From News Max.com:

The press reported on Tuesday that Sen. Hillary Clinton had scored a coup in the presidential race by winning the endorsement of a key black political leader in South Carolina, state Sen. Darrell Jackson.

Now it has come to light that just days earlier, Clinton’s campaign reached a deal to pay Jackson’s consulting firm $10,000 a month through the 2008 elections – a deal worth more than $200,000.

"Jackson had also been in talks with Sen. Barack Obama’s campaign about endorsing him and entering into a consulting contract for more than $5,000, sources said – raising questions about whether Jackson’s endorsement was bought by a higher bidder,” the New York Post reported.

Jackson – who is also the minister of a large church in the state capital, Columbia – acknowledged that he should have revealed his financial dealings with the Clinton campaign when he and fellow state Sen. Robert Ford, who is also African-American, endorsed Clinton.

What is of keen interest is the next paragraph...

But he told the Post: "It’s not about the money – there were some other candidates who offered to double [Clinton’s] offer,” Jackson told the Post, although he declined to name them.
See, he admits that he, his vote, and his constituency's votes are up to the highest bidder. This is what the democrats have come to. They now eagerly and actively seeking out and buying minority votes. It must be because they know that they are unable to win legally and attract voters by stating exactly what they are for.

Olmert wants to give up GOLAN to Syria

Well, if you are a strong believer in the "Land for Peace" theory, then you believe that giving any requested land to your enemies will create peace out of hostilities. These people do not live in the normal world of realism.

They fail to understand that giving land to your enemies is what they want in the first place but you just gave it to them without a fight. The enemies are still willing to fight and kill you, but you just saved them from having to die for that land. Now, they have the manpower to resolve to seek more land from you. And what is worse, now those enemies have gotten closer and closer and have taken over key positions looking over your precious cities.

These people, like Olmert, have in effect have surrendered without fighting. They have eagerly, willingly, happily surrendered their countrymen's security, safety and their lives to these enemies of Israel.

Olmert, should he proceed with this ideology, must be tried for treason and removed from office ASAP.

This rant courtesy of All Headline News:

Olmert: Israel Will Have To Surrender Golan For Peace With Syria

Jerusalem (AHN) - Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert told the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee on Monday that Israel will have no choice but to part with the Golan Heights if it ever wants peace with neighboring Syria.

"The whole world knows that in any future negotiations, if they are renewed, we will have to give up on the entire Golan Heights," Ha'aretz quoted Olmert as telling the committee.

The remarks came as part of a heated argument with committee member and opposition leader Binyamin Netanyahu.

If this keeps up, Netanyahu will win the next election for sure.

Olmert charged that during his tenure as prime minister, Netanyahu had held negotiations with Syria based on the premise of ceding territory on the strategic plateau. Netanyahu denied that he had ever intended to comply with Syrian territorial demands.

At any rate, Olmert reiterated his opposition to renewing negotiations with Syria at this time, pointing out that Damascus is "interested in the industry of peace, rather than real peace."

What the heck does that even mean??? What is the "industry" of peace versus "real" peace?? And Olmert, by the way, Damascus is not interested in peace with you. They want you eliminated just like the rest of the Arab State. Why give them that which they so utterly desire - the Golan?

And why is the Golan so important and a key ground between Syria and Israel???
Israel captured the Golan Heights from Syria in the 1967 Six Day War. During the 19 years prior to that conflict, Syria used the plateau to perpetrate constant shelling and sniping attacks on Israelis living in the valleys below, and even tried to divert streams originating on the Golan that provide one-third of Israel's water.

How Many Innocents Are Sent To Jail?

From FoxNews.com:

Well, the media are now becoming more and more aware of the nastiness and pervasiveness of pornographic spam and adware. This stuff can attack you from anywhere. And, any action that occurred while YOU were signed on to a computer, YOU are the one deemed conducting these "viewings". While, it can not be proved whether it was actually YOU doing the browsing, enforcement still actively seek to punish whomever they can get their hands on.

The laws are still behind the times in this regard. The analysis the computer forensics personnel undertake can not determine who was using a computer at a certain time. Almost all of these cases are based on who signed on to the computer before these incidents occurred. If a computer was hacked or infected prior to the user signing on makes little difference to prosecuters. Having a pornographer viewer conviction in their pocket is all they care about.
Amero was convicted in January of exposing students to pornography on her classroom computer.

While prosecutors insist she is guilty, some experts believe that the lewd images were caused by unseen spyware and adware programs, which critics call one of the top scourges of the Internet.

Amero, who claims to have little experience with computers, has become a cause celebre for technology experts around the country who say she is the victim of a miscarriage of justice that could happen to anyone.

Amero says before her class started, the teacher allowed her to e-mail her husband. She used the computer and went to the bathroom, returning to find the permanent teacher gone and two students viewing a Web site on hair styles.

Amero says she chased the students away and started class. But later, she said she noticed pornographic images popping up on the computer screen by themselves. She tried to click the images off, but they kept returning.

At her trial, computer consultant Herb Horner testified that the children went to an innocent Web site on hair styles and were redirected to another hair style site that had pornographic links.

"It can happen to anybody," Horner said.

Prosecutor David Smith contended Amero clicked onto graphic Web sites, which included meetlovers.com and femalesexual.com, and failed to prevent children from seeing the pornography.

Amero is emphatic that she did not click on the Web pages. She said any inappropriate images on her computer screen were from adware, which can generate pop-up ads, and not from sites specifically keyed.

Amero and her supporters say the old computer lacked firewall or antispyware protections to prevent inappropriate pop-ups.

"What is extraordinary is the prosecution admitted there was no search made for spyware — an incredible blunder akin to not checking for fingerprints at a crime scene," Alex Eckelberry, president of a Florida software company, wrote recently in the local newspaper. "When a pop-up occurs on a computer, it will get shown as a visited Web site and no 'physical click' is necessary."

And, based on the young kid's actions and the veracity of adware and porn, a decent innocent woman is convicted. Haven't these wise and learned people ever heard of PORNSTORM? If you haven't, I suggest you look it up quick.

I am currently at work so I am not going to enter the word P*RN into a search form. Sorry. Places you might try is urbanlegends.com and wikipedia.com

ARMING Our Enemies

From EUReferendum:

CLASSIC.

How many ways can we stab ourselves in the back???

An old story re-emerges in The Telegraph today – but with an added twist. The original story, broached in December 2005 by the BBC, amongst others (with the Telegraph following in January) was that the Austrian government had authorised the sale of 800 Steyr Mannlicher HS50 rifles to the Iranian government, supposedly for use by the National Iranian Police Organisation, which claimed they were for anti-drug smuggling operations. It now appears that, less than two months after deliveries began to Iran, an Iraqi insurgent shot dead an American officer in an armoured vehicle, using the weapon.

And an even more scarier part of Charles' post is this bit...
But, the man from the BBC added, it could also be that the US is softening up world opinion for an attack on Iran. Such an attack would be aimed at Iran's nuclear facilities. At the moment, Reynolds observed, the US lacks a casus belli and by claiming that Iran is responsible for killing USA troops, it could be laying the groundwork for a "self-defence" justification.

In the murky world of Middle East politics, any of this could be true, and more. It rarely pays to take things at face value. But one thing is evident. The US was perfectly right to protest at the sale of the rifles to Iran and to impose sanctions on Austria in December year last.

And how typical it was of those wonderful, peace-loving "Europeans" at the time to complain that the US action "could hinder diplomatic efforts by the EU to end the standoff over Iran's nuclear programme."
So, while we been telling the world up and down how bad Iran is, one of best Allies was selling them weapons behind our back. And when we complained, the world said that we should not because it might strain international relations with Iran.

And now that those same weapons are being found in Iraq on Iranians after having shot our coalition soldiers. What is the word from the world? "Sssshhhhh. Don't stir the pot! Don't make waves. And quit bringing up useless old news!"

When are we as a free peoples going to learn that we should not give weapons to our most dangerous enemies.

BTW... wait till you hear what we are giving North Korea.

Is Another Chief of Staff Due to Resign?

From ABC NEWS INTERNATIONAL:

Wow, in what seems as a direct slap in the face of President Bush, Gen. Peter Pace, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said that President Bush and his intelligence is flat out wrong. Stating that there is absolutely no evidence Iran is shipping arms to Iraqi terrorists...

JAKARTA, Indonesia Feb 13, 2007 (AP) — A top U.S. general said Tuesday there was no evidence the Iranian government was supplying Iraqi insurgents with highly lethal roadside bombs, apparently contradicting claims by other U.S. military and administration officials.

Gen. Peter Pace, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said U.S. forces hunting down militant networks that produced roadside bombs had arrested Iranians and that some of the material used in the devices were made in Iran.

"That does not translate that the Iranian government per se, for sure, is directly involved in doing this," Pace told reporters in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta. "What it does say is that things made in Iran are being used in Iraq to kill coalition soldiers."

Please note where he was speaking; in the heart of pacific militant Islam.

So, secure and newly devised weaponry were being found in Iraq along with their Iranian transporters, but there is no evidence Iran's government is involved. Hmm...So how did the weapons get out of the military's hands and into lowly iranians who felt compelled to take it personally to Iraqi militants who were once their enemies before Saddam was disposed.

So, we then get the obligatory comments.
From the report writers within Iraq:
Three senior military officials in Baghdad said Sunday that the highest levels of Iranian government were responsible for arming Shiite militants in Iraq with the bombs, blamed for the deaths of more than 170 U.S. troops.
From the White House:
Asked Monday directly if the White House was confident that the weaponry is coming on the approval of the Iranian government, spokesman Tony Snow said, "Yes."
And then of course, the AP has to get the enemies opinions; "What do you say to the audacious claim by the sleazy President Bush that you are sending vast amounts of weapons into Iraq personally?" What do you expect Iran to say??
"Such accusations cannot be relied upon or be presented as evidence. The United States has a long history in fabricating evidence. Such charges are unacceptable," Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad Ali Hosseini told reporters in Tehran.
Case closed for the AP.

Haven't We Heard This Before??

From Boston.com online:

Wow, in what seems like a nasty flashback sequence worthy of Saturday Night Live (trademark NBC of course), NEW Sen. Barack Obama has apologized for saying our American men and women of the Armed Forces were just wasting their lives in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is apologizing for saying the lives of the more than 3,000 U.S. troops killed in the Iraq war were "wasted."

During his first campaign trip this weekend, the Illinois senator told a crowd in Iowa: "We now have spent $400 billion and have seen over 3,000 lives of the bravest young Americans wasted."

He immediately apologized on Sunday, saying the remark was "a slip of the tongue."

During an appearance Monday in Nashua, N.H., he apologized again, telling reporters he meant to criticize the civilian leadership of the war, not those serving in the military.

"Even as I said it, I realized I had misspoken," Obama said.
So, he made a statement immediately knowing that he misspoke, but then waited a day or more to issue an apology for it. Interestingly enough, he issued his apology only after the Blogosphere caught wind of it and criticized him for his hateful, spiteful, anti-military rhetoric.

If he knew it was wrong then, then why didn't he correct himself then. I think Charles from LGF has it right also.

We’re supposed to believe that a candidate for president is going around the country giving speeches completely off the cuff. Improvising as he goes. And just happens to end up insulting the military.

Uh huh.

Doesn't this whole thing sound eerily familiar?
Sen. Kerry: “You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.”
You can find all of the Kerry Insanity disease here at hotair.com

And what of Sen. Kerry's apology(s)???:
Senator John Kerry issued the following statement in response to White House Press Secretary Tony Snow, assorted right wing nut-jobs, and right wing talk show hosts desperately distorting Kerry’s comments about President Bush to divert attention from their disastrous record:

“If anyone thinks a veteran would criticize the more than 140,000 heroes serving in Iraq and not the president who got us stuck there, they’re crazy. This is the classic G.O.P. playbook. I’m sick and tired of these despicable Republican attacks that always seem to come from those who never can be found to serve in war, but love to attack those who did.

Oh, and the other version of his apology??
“I said it was a botched joke. Of course, I’m sorry about a botched joke.”
I don't trust any of these anti-military people as far as a crocodile can swallow them. If a person is unable to support this country's military, then they should leave and move to a country who's military they do support.... say Cuba, China or Russia.

But what scares me the most about all of this, is the sheer silence from the people of this nation. When members of our elected Congress defame and criticize the members of our famed military they should be CENSURED!! Conservatives of Congress need to start standing up for our fighting men and women.

Congress Wants Pres Bush To Ask Iran For Help

Fourth Post From January 30, 2007:

From Yahoo News...
WASHINGTON - Republican and Democratic senators warned Tuesday against a drift toward war with an emboldened Iran and suggested the Bush administration was missing a chance to engage its longtime adversary in potentially helpful talks...
HAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA

Yeah, right. So, how long have talks already been underway by the UN, EU, and USA?!?!? What do they want? What kind of diplomacy will make a people change their hearts? Diplomacy only works with small things like how high to raise taxes, where the border runs along a river, whether to tax imports, etc. Diplomacy does not make homicidal lunatics stop wanting to kill people. Diplomacy does not make people who want to kill, who live to kill, whose sole purpose is to kill or be killed, change their hearts in so much that they want to now live in peace.
"What I think many of us are concerned about is that we stumble into active hostilities with Iran without having aggressively pursued diplomatic approaches, without the American people understanding exactly what's taking place," Sen. Barack Obama said.
WOW. I knew this guy was new on the national scene but I did not figure him to be completely ignorant of all that has been happening over the last 10-15 years, especially over the last 6 years with regard to IRAN. And what does he mean by "stumble" into hostilities? How can a nation stumble into war? Especially the United States is not allowed to stumble into war. Active hostilities maybe as when Pres. Clinton took us into hostilities in Kosovo. But only an act of Congress can make this nation stumble into war. What an embicile thing to say. And since when do the liberals care about what the American people want or think? The liberals of this nation enact the laws, strip away rights, and push their way into American's lives DESPITE the knowledge and consent of the American public. If the American public truly knew what the liberals and socialists of the democrat party were up to, they would never ever vote democrat again.
Obama, a candidate for president in 2008, warned during the Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing that senators of both parties will demand "clarity and transparency in terms of U.S. policy so that we don't repeat some of the mistakes that have been made in the past," a reference to the faulty intelligence underlying the U.S. invasion of Iraq.
Obama demands transparency in our foreign policy?? Hello? TURN ON THE TV!!!
And what mistakes is he referring to? Please be specific. Please tell me what mistakes were made that YOU members of Congress did not authorize!?!?

Yes, we had faulty intelligence leading us into the conflict in Iraq. But at the time, we were already at war and were not willing to put up with a tin-dictator trying to push the world around. Besides, the WHOLE FREAKIN' WORLD had the exact same take as we did on their intelligence. They too wanted Saddam out. The UN, the bastion of the liberals, were actually proud that we went into Iraq without them having to their hands dirty. They can look like the good guys while we stood up and took a stand.

Liberals need to just shut up and move aside and let real men lead this country to greatness. Because liberals will only cause our nation to fall by the way just like Russia, Cuba, and North Korea.

Bush Turning His Back On Israel

Third Post From January 30, 2007:

$86 Million to Suicide Bombing Terrorists

Presented without comment: Bush unveils security aid for Palestinian ally.

WASHINGTON (AFP) - US President George W. Bush has ordered the transfer of about 86 million dollars in aid to strengthen security forces loyal to Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas, the White House said.

Confirmation of the US aid came a day after an Islamic militant carried out the first suicide bombing inside Israel in nine months and as Abbas’ Fatah party is locked in a violent power struggle with the Islamist movement Hamas.
So, despite all of the political rhetoric about fighting terror and terrorism, Pres. Bush has turned his back on America and its security. How can he does this to us? We conservatives thought he was a Republican. Guess he turned out to be a Democrat after all. How can a President of America during a time of war with our men and women dying in foreign lands give millions of dollars to an organization that supports terror and terrorism.

Just another brilliant example of how Bush is turning his back on Israel. I fear for our safety. Whenever a people or nation turns its back on Israel, bad things soon follow.

Hillary Blames Bush For Making Her Look Bad

Another Post From January 30, 2007:

From yahoo News...
DAVENPORT, Iowa - Hillary Rodham Clinton said Sunday that President Bush should withdraw all U.S. troops from

Iraq before he leaves office, asserting it would be "the height of irresponsibility" to pass the war along to the next commander in chief.

"This was his decision to go to war with an ill-conceived plan and an incompetently executed strategy," the Democratic senator from New York said her in initial presidential campaign swing through Iowa.

"We expect him to extricate our country from this before he leaves office" in January 2009, the former first lady said.

The White House condemned Clinton's comments as a partisan attack that undermines U.S. soldiers.

About 130,000 American troops are in Iraq and Bush has announced he was sending 21,500 more as part of his new war strategy.

Clinton held a town hall-style forum attended by about 300 activists, giving a brief speech before taking questions for nearly an hour. Pressed to defend her vote to authorize force in Iraq before the U.S.-led invasion in March 2003, Clinton responded by stepping up her criticism of Bush.

"I am going to level with you, the president has said this is going to be left to his successor," Clinton said. "I think it is the height of irresponsibility and I really resent it."
Ok, let us break this down....

Does she not remember KOSOVO?? An ill-advised self-aggrandizing battle that her husband got this country into without UN approval and then left for the next president to deal with!?!?!?

I guess she also forgot that it was she and the national congress that voted to go to war and to give the president full powers to protect this country; fully authorizing his commander-in-chief authorities.

GO AMERICAN MILITARY !!

Post From January 30, 2007:

http://www.local6.com/video/10844390/index.html can you say.. GO AMERICAN MILITARY!!

You have to watch it almost all the way through for the grand finale'.

Please note, this went on for over 7 hours before we brought out the big guns. And note, if a battle like this can still occur then it in no way indicates that Iraq is ready for us to leave.

Looney Liberals Strike Again

Another Post From January 28, 2007:

Now this man needs to be saluted, not charged with assault...
NORTH BONNEVILLE, Wash. — A man who used a stun gun on his 79-year-old grandmother-in-law after an argument over how to discipline his toddler son was arrested for investigation of domestic violence assault.

Aaron de Bruyn, 26, was cited with fourth-degree domestic violence assault Wednesday and was released from the Skamania County Jail Thursday afternoon, said Calvin Owens, police chief in this town about 30 miles up the Columbia River from Portland, Ore.

The argument began Wednesday morning when his 7-month-old son tried to reach behind the family's entertainment system to grab the electrical wires, de Bruyn told The Columbian newspaper of Vancouver.

Fearing the boy would shock himself, he told the boy "no" a couple of times and gave the child a swat on his diapered bottom.

De Bruyn said his grandmother-in-law, Rosemary Garlock, told him that was child abuse and threatened to have the child taken away. He said he then told Garlock to leave and she refused.

After an argument that lasted several minutes, he pulled out his Taser stun gun and told her he would use it on her if she didn't leave within 60 seconds. He counted down, and when she didn't leave, he shocked her on her right shoulder as she sat on the living room couch.
If my kid were ignoring me and reaching for electrical power cords, I would bust him as well. Better he have a sore but than be DEAD!!! If this old crudgemon looney-in-law can't understand that, then she should show the kid what it means to get shocked with household electricity. If she survives, then she can follow the kid around by the hand preventing him from ever hurting his precious self again.

Kerry's Love Affair With Iran

Post From January 28, 2007:

From FOXNEWS.com:
Seems that Kerry has chosen sides. Before he was at least on our soil criticizing and betraying our country. It seems now that he will saddle up with the enemy and spew his rhetoric from afar.
DAVOS, Switzerland — Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry slammed the foreign policy of the Bush administration on Saturday, saying it has caused the United States to become "a sort of international pariah."

The statement came as the 2004 Democratic presidential nominee responded to a question about whether the U.S. government had failed to adequately engage Iran's government before the election of hard-liner Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in 2005.

Kerry said the Bush administration has failed to adequately address a number of foreign policy issues.

"When we walk away from global warming, Kyoto, when we are irresponsibly slow in moving toward AIDS in Africa, when we don't advance and live up to our own rhetoric and standards, we set a terrible message of duplicity and hypocrisy," Kerry said.

"So we have a crisis of confidence in the Middle East — in the world, really. I've never seen our country as isolated, as much as a sort of international pariah for a number of reasons as it is today."

Kerry said the government needs to use diplomacy to improve national security.

"We need to do a better job of protecting our interests, because after all, that's what diplomacy is about," he said. "But you have to do it in a context of the reality, not your lens but the reality of those other cultures and histories."

Kerry criticized what he called the "unfortunate habit" of Americans to see the world "exclusively through an American lens."
WOW. Shouldn't this be seen as treasonous? Besides, in what vane should America see the world?? We are American after all. But then once again, Kerry and his socialists ilk are doing whatever they can to destroy the unique American culture by claiming that we are the ones wrong in this world.
"We need to do a better job of protecting our interests, because after all, that's what diplomacy is about," he said. "But you have to do it in a context of the reality, not your lens but the reality of those other cultures and histories."
I guess that this means we need to be aware of the cultures of the world BEFORE we protect our interests? Yep, once again, Kerry and the socialists democrats are pushing any other culture in front of America's. Yep, if America's interest come into conflict with another culture, then they would make sure that America secceed to the whims of our enemies.

Ok, America. Where do your loyalties lie? Do they lie with protecting America, our borders, and our international interests? Or do they lie with our enemies and their desires to destroy our nation from the inside and out?

HAJJ Festival - too grisly for reality

Third Post From January 2, 2007:

From Sweetness & Light: (Kind of graphic photos of animal slaughter)

It was a very bad time to be any animal with 4 legs. Looks like they will kill (SLAUGHTER) anything that had 4 legs and moved too slow.

I know, there is a religious ritual associated with this, but, something feels wrong about it. Usually, these kind of slaughter rituals are associated with a specific kind of animal. The Jewish sacrifice involves a very pure cow-calf. They are slaughtered in a specific method and manner and only done so by specified individuals. Looking at these photos, it looks like they just caught anything they could and slaughtered them where they dropped.

Then of course, this has led to hundreds of Turks being injured and maimed by their sacrificial instruments.

Oh, and by the way, this HAJJ is associated with the kissing and revering of a piece of space rock. They have this piece of meteorite encased in a huge block structure and you are supposed to kiss it and it will absorb your sins. So, would this be the ultimate form of idolatry.... worshipping and seeking salvation from a rock. It's not even in a humanoid form.

And they wonder why they are still a third world country, economy and peoples. They are a barbaric, backwards, demon-loving, and ungodly people. I feel for them. I am sorry for them. To be living in the darkness. To love fear and hate and not know the light and warmth from love and peace.

Some have wondered who will become the Anti-Christ's army when he assumes world power. I think the Muslims are growing into that role. It won't take anything from the new world leader to get the Muslims to rise up and attack the Jews and newly-converted christians. It won't take much of a speech for them to rise up and attack and wage the final bloody war. It will be the war that they have been clambering for, and dreaming of, for years.

HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!

Another Post From January 2, 2007:

From LGF:
Did I mention that it was a HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!
Mainstream media is almost completely ignoring it, but “youths” burned four hundred cars in France to ring in the New Year, intifada-style:
VANDALS set fire to about 400 cars overnight and police said they arrested more than 250 people, as violence marred France’s New Year celebrations.

However, a police spokesman said there were fewer problems than in 2005, when youths attacked trains in the Paris region and southeast of the country.

25,000 police were on duty throughout the country during the night, including 4500 in Paris, where the authorities banned fireworks and firecrackers.

Police said that they had arrested 258 people nationwide by early morning, including two children aged eight and 10 who set fire to dustbins in the eastern city of Strasbourg. Three children aged between 10 and 12 were arrested in a Paris suburb after they were caught carrying cans of petrol.
Once again, "vandals" and "youths" seems to be the euphamism for low-income muslim immigrant youths who have nothing better to do than destroy everything they wish without repudiation.

Shoulda Stayed In Bed

Post from January 2, 2007:

Well, first day back to work. Though...... I shouldn't have. Unbeknownst to me, the state was closed today due to the former President Ford's funeral. I went ahead and put in 2 hours of work anyway. That way I can go home early the rest of the week while Jason is home from school.

So, after working for the school for 2 weeks and 2 days, I still have not worn my dress clothes for more than one day. Hehehee... nice to have a week of paid vacation.

If I have not told you, may you all have a blessed New Year that is full of blessings and opportunities. And most of all, Believe in GOD, for he is your only salvation from this earth.

The Free World Breathes Easier Today

Third Post From Dec 30, 2006:

so much news today....
From the AP website as presented on the St. Petersburg Times website ...

This video image released by Iraqi state television shows Saddam Hussein's guards wearing ski masks and placing a noose around the deposed leader's neck moments before his execution Saturday Dec. 30. 2006. Clutching a Quran and refusing a hood, Saddam Hussein went to the gallows before sunrise Saturday, executed by vengeful countrymen after a quarter-century of remorseless brutality that killed countless thousands and led Iraq into disastrous wars against the United States and Iran. (AP Photo/IRAQI TV, HO)
WOW. No bias there whatsoever. Guess this proves where the ideologies of the AP lie. All I can say about the context of the photo.... WOOOHOOOO!!!! Justice Served !

And, the Left is saddened today. There is weeping and gnashing of teeth on the part of the Left and the America-haters. Don't believe me?!?!!? Then go here and read for yourself.

Sen Spectre Going Behind Pres' Back

Another Post From Dec 30, 2006:

From LGF again:
Sen. Arlen Specter makes no bones about it; he visited Syria to engage in freelance diplomacy, because he’s decided the US government’s policies aren’t working: Specter, colleagues travel abroad, but bid for dialogue yields little.

On Christmas Day, Sen. Arlen Specter (R., Pa.) arrived in Damascus for meetings with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and other senior regime officials. He becomes the fourth senator in recent weeks to break an informal travel embargo and visit the Syrian capital, following visits this month by Sens. Bill Nelson (D., Fla.), John Kerry (D., Mass.), and Christopher Dodd (D., Conn.).

When Specter announced his intention to visit, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice telephoned to ask him not to go, but the senator refused.

“I deferred to them a year ago, and I deferred to them last August,” Specter told the Associated Press. “If there were any signs the administration policy [in the Middle East] was working, I’d defer to them again.”

He seems completely oblivious to the fact that by lending legitimacy to the Syrian regime, Specter hands them another propaganda victory—and undermines US interests.

On each trip, Syria’s state-controlled television broadcast Specter’s meeting with the Syrian president. Specter may believe his words are tough, but the Syrian government twists them to imply endorsement. On Jan. 5, 2003, for example, the Syrian Arab News Agency reported that “the U.S. Senator... voiced the United States’ appreciation for Syria’s positions and efforts aimed at making the Middle East more secure and stable, adding that his country views Syria’s positions as principled and rational.”

On Dec. 26, 2006, Syrian television reported that Specter “stressed... Syria’s pivotal role in the region.” Bolstering the sense of importance and confidence of state sponsors of terrorism does not help regional diplomacy.
This man needs to be censured. He needs to be put back into his place. Senators are not to engage in International Diplomacy!! They in no way represent the national view. Sen. Specter should be held at the airport and not allowed in until he sits for several hours. He needs to be shown that those coming from Syria are not to be coddled. At the least, he needs to be removed his committee seats and given a reduced stature. He is no longer a republican. It was painfully obvious for many years that he was not a conservative.

Muslims Refuse To Be Clean

Post From Dec 30, 2006:

From LGF:
Some Muslims are undermining the battle to rid Britain’s hospitals of killer infections by refusing to wash their hands when visiting sick relatives.

Dispensers containing anti-bacterial gel have been placed outside wards at hospitals all over Britain in a bid to get rid of superbugs like MRSA and PVL. It prevents people bringing in more infections. But some Muslims refuse to use the hand cleansers on religious grounds because they contain alcohol.

Health watchdogs are so concerned they intend to meet with NHS bosses in the New Year to try and hammer out a solution.

NHS care assistant Theresa Poupa, 46, became aware of the situation while visiting a sick cousin at the London Chest Hospital in Bethnal Green. She said: “I could not believe it - the signs are large enough and clear enough but they just took no notice and walked straight onto the ward.

“I was there almost every day for three weeks and I saw it repeated dozens and dozens of times. When I raised the matter with the nursing staff they just shrugged and said that Muslims were refusing to use the gel because it contained alcohol.”
Wow, and instead of firing them, placing them on leave or transfer them to non-medical areas, they will just acquiesce or change the rules allowing them to continue to spread germs and infections. When will this cowardice end? Yes, I understand that this is a religious issue. But, as over here, if a religious person can not fulfill their job duties based on religious grounds, they are either fired or placed in a different area. Being scared of Muslims must stop.

And then, a muslim convert extremist gave the "alternate christmas" message in Brittain as well. She is an English white woman who converted to a Pakistani variant of Islam and then married a Pakistani-born muslim man. She belongs to a radical group that pushes the forced conversion of infidels to the muslim religion.

What gets in to these people's minds that they think it is perfectly reasonable and sound to have a radical muslim present a "Christmas" message?!!?!?!?

Islam - The Parent Religion??

Post From Dec 29, 2006:

From Little Green Footballs...
"...Tony Blair’s whiplash changes of opinion and conflicting pronouncements, but his gushing praise for the Koran really stands out: Blair on Islam: Standard-Bearer of Tolerance.

"'To me, the most remarkable thing about the Koran is how progressive it is. I write with great humility as a member of another faith. As an outsider, the Koran strikes me as a reforming book, trying to return Judaism and Christianity to their origins, much as reformers attempted to do with the Christian church centuries later. The Koran is inclusive. It extols science and knowledge and abhors superstition. It is practical and far ahead of its time in attitudes toward marriage, women, and governance.

Under its guidance, the spread of Islam and its dominance over previously Christian or pagan lands were breathtaking. Over centuries, Islam founded an empire and led the world in discovery, art, and culture. The standard-bearers of tolerance in the early Middle Ages were far more likely to be found in Muslim lands than in Christian ones.'"

Holy crapola. Tony Blair thinks that the Muslim religion is the basis, the origin, of the Jewish and Christian religions??!?!? When was the last time you heard that Muslims were more tolerant of women than Christians?!!? When was the last time you heard Christians beheading those that wanted to convert to another religion?

MUSLIMS For Peace - only if you do what they say

Post From Dec 27, 2006:

From the Australian News:
Lina Joy was once a Muslim but has converted to Christianity. She didn’t do so to make any broad point or to lead any social movement. It was entirely a private decision. But in Malaysia the state takes official notice of your race and religion. Lina Joy tried to get herself deregistered as a Muslim and reregistered as a Christian. As a Muslim she is not allowed to marry a Christian man and any children she has must be brought up as Muslims.

When the state authorities refused to accept her conversion she appealed to the courts on the basis of Article 11 of the Malaysian constitution, which guarantees freedom of religion. The case, in which judgment could be given at any time, has polarised Malaysia. Many Muslims believe apostasy - changing your religion - is not only a sin but should be punishable by death.

Imtiaz (Lina Joy's lawyer, who is a muslim, is also under a muslim death threat for his service) told The Australian that traditionally Malaysia was pragmatic and liberal about such matters. Apostasy would always cause a social reaction but if a Malaysian converted they could make this official by changing their name and publicising the change. In recent years, however, a body of case law has grown up that requires a Malaysian to go before a sharia - Muslim religious - court to get a kind of exit permit from the religion.

Sharia courts, Imtiaz argues, were only ever meant to consider a fairly narrow range of family matters exclusively for Muslims, not to impinge fundamentally on a citizen’s relationship to the state.

But the Lina Joy case, and a raft of others involving similar issues, have touched off a wave of Islamist activism in Malaysia. There has been a rash of anti-apostasy campaigns. Islamic defenders’ groups (read anti-Christian groups), mirroring those in Indonesia but without the violence, have been set up. (Anything that seeks to prevent freedoms and to rule through intimidation is not "without violence")

Then came the death threats to Imtiaz, a Muslim, with posters branding him an enemy of Islam and urging his murder.
So, where do you really want to live? Are you really sure that being completely tolerant to the muslim invasion is a safe way to go? Everywhere the Muslim Shar'ia law has invaded, freedoms have been erased, violence has increased, and tolerance for anything Christian has disappeared.

Now, think of Congressman Ellison's recent statements that call non-muslim's fear and despair over the Muslim religion as ignorance. He has said that it is we that are ignorant and have much to learn from Muslim religion.

Merry Christmas - for some more so

Post From Dec 25, 2006:

From Newsmax.com:
A federal appeals court told the Bush administration Friday that it does not need to immediately restart a housing program for thousands of Hurricane Katrina victims.

The ruling suspends an order by U.S. District Judge Richard Leon, who said last month that the Federal Emergency Management Agency violated the Constitution when it eliminated short-term housing assistance.

Under Leon's order, FEMA appeared on track to restore housing payments to families in Texas.

"Maybe we can get this thing jump-started and get these people a roof over their heads before Christmas," Leon said Monday.

The ruling by a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit puts that on hold at least until March, when the court will hear arguments in the case.

Under Leon's order, FEMA told officials in Texas early this week to expect federal money for housing about 4,200 evacuees.
It is completely unbelievable that our government would still be paying the rents of hurricane evacuees over a year, OVER A YEAR, after the hurricanes of 2005 that hit the Gulf Coast states of Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas.

I say this in the vein of a person who has lived in Tornado Alley for most of his life. We don't get rental assistance. We don't get debit cards worth tens of thousands of dollars. There isn't BILLIONS of dollars in misspent money, fraud and waste after tornados destroy our communities. Yes, we do get low rate loans to help our rebuilding. But, many of us have do what we have done over the years..... rely upon family, friends, and ourselves. We have relied on them, our own abilities and our insurance monies to rebuild our lives and livelihoods.

We would see it as an insult if the government were to INSIST that they pay to put us up in hotels in other states like Utah, Texas or even Hawaii. Yes, it would be nice to be put up in Hawaii. But we would see it as a vacation and not an entitlement. But, to EXPECT that the government keep paying for room, and sometimes room and board, for OVER A YEAR after the disaster!?!?!?

And, recall, many of these people who have received this entitlement were from New Orleans flooded area where the only damage they received was that their homes were flooded. Yes, they lost most of their possessions, but it was not a tragic and emotional devastation like that which occurs following a tornado's destruction.

This lunacy must end. This idiocy of providing welfare entitlements to victims of natural disasters must be stopped. Yes, the government must still be responsible for providing rescue assistance and temporary relief in the form of temporary shelter, food and clothing in the immediate aftermath of disasters. I would even support the subsidizing of Red Cross and the like as they have been in the rescue business forever. There would be less corruption with giving money to Red Cross than would be if the money were given directly to people themselves (as seen in the Billions in fraud and waste that occurred with the 2005 Hurricane Evacuees).

Tell these people that it is time to go back home and get a job.

Christmas Trees Must Represent All Religions

Post From Dec 10, 2006:

SEA-TAC Airport -

So much for the holiday spirit. Can't even do holiday spirit any more?!?! This must be one pissed off Rabbi for him to NOW go after a private organization suing them for displaying Christmas trees. Why now?!!? Why a private organization?
All of the Christmas trees inside the terminal at Sea-Tac have been removed in response to a complaint by a rabbi.

A local rabbi wanted to install an 8-foot menorah and have a public lighting ceremony. He threatened to sue if the menorah wasn’t put up, and gave a two-day deadline to remove the trees.

Sea-Tac public affairs manager Terri-Ann Betancourt said the trees that adorn the Sea-Tac upper and lower levels may not properly represent all cultures.

She said that since this is their busiest time of year and they don't have time to add a fair representation of all cultures, her department decided to take down all of the decorations, review their policies, and decide if they need to make a change for next year.

You know, our focus is on customer service, getting our passengers through the airport, and we thought if we could take the trees down and avoid litigation because we don't want to littigate with this individual, we want to reach some kind of solution," Betancourt said. "But that is going to take some thoughtful discussion and we would like to have time to have that thoughtful discussion."

Until then, no Christmas decor at Sea-Tac.

The same decorations have been put up for at least 10 years, she added.

Here's the funny part.....

"Terri-Ann Betancourt said the trees that adorn the Sea-Tac upper and lower levels may not properly represent all cultures."
HOW in the world could anyone expect a lighted, decorated, "christmas-y" tree to represent all... ALL ... cultures is beyond me. It is beyond the pale of human thought and reason!!!!

Christmas is a judeo-christian religious celebration of the birth and life of Jesus Christ.......... WHO WAS A JEW NO LESS!!!

There is no way on this GOD-created earth that Christmas can be expected to be accepted by Hindus, Shinzas, Mayans, Jews, Muslims, and Wiccans. (Well, maybe it would be accepted by the Wiccans as it deals with trees).

Now tell me again which is the true religion of the one and only High and Mighty GOD? The one that is always under attack, of course.

If anyone doubts that Christmas is under attack, they are blind to all things going on around them. It is utterly clear and proven time and time again. Christmas is not an all inclusive religious event, therefore it must be eliminated. But, doesn't it seem strange, odd, hypocritical and utterly unfair, that Christians and their religious holidays must end or adapt to other world cultures, but the same is not expected of all the other world's religions.

Bolton Out of UN

Another Post From Dec 4, 2006:

OH MY LORD !!!!

The Dems are really forcing a clearing of the big house...

"Bush accepts Bolton’s U.N. resignation.

WASHINGTON - Unable to win Senate confirmation, U.N. Ambassador John Bolton will step down when his temporary appointment expires within weeks, the White House said Monday.

Bolton’s nomination has languished in the Senate Foreign Relations Committee for more than a year, blocked by Democrats and several Republicans. Sen. Lincoln Chafee, a moderate Republican who lost in the midterm elections Nov. 7 that swept Democrats to power in both houses of Congress, was adamantly opposed to Bolton."
Well, our power within the UN will suddenly dry up without a man like Bolten protecting US and Israeli interests. This is a real tenderbox time for those who want to protect freedom and democracy. Without a strong-willed protective UN representative, China, Russia, and the many anti-US countries in the UN will run roughshod over any proposed initiatives. Especially those designed to hurt Isreal and the interests of the USA.

Criticizing Muslims is Rascist

Post From Dec 4, 2006:

From Little Green Footballs:

From an intolerant organization like CAIR to decry intolerance from others is a perfect example of the height of hypocrisy. And to do so in this case just smacks of their intolerance to our customs and congressional preceedings....
WASHINGTON - An Islamic civil rights group said Monday that a columnist who criticized Rep.-elect Keith Ellison’s decision to use the Quran during his ceremonial swearing-in should be removed from the United States Holocaust Memorial Council.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations said the comments by Dennis Prager, a columnist and conservative talk radio host, displayed an intolerance toward Islam that make him an inappropriate person to serve on the council.

Ellison, D-Minn., is the first Muslim elected to Congress.

In his column last week, Prager wrote: “Insofar as a member of Congress taking an oath to serve America and uphold its values is concerned, America is interested in only one book, the Bible. If you are incapable of taking an oath on that book, don’t serve in Congress.”

The Holocaust Memorial Council oversees the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington.

“No one who holds such bigoted, intolerant and divisive views should be in a policymaking position at a taxpayer-funded institution that seeks to educate Americans about the destructive impact hatred has had, and continues to have, on every society,” CAIR’s executive director, Nihad Awad, wrote in a letter to the council’s chairman, Fred Zeidman."

Israel Bad, Palestinians Good

Post From Nov 29, 2006:

From LGF:
Jimmy Carter: Israel Bad, Palestinians Good
He’s a gift of idiotarianism that keeps on giving, the man who invited Michael Moore into the presidential box seats at the Democrat Convention.

“I think if the United States won’t take that role on, then maybe the entire group of the so-called International Quartet, the United States, Russia, the United Nations, and the United — and the European Union — those four have written a road map which President Bush has endorsed enthusiastically. And if they can implement their terms — by the way, on which the Palestinians have accepted 100 percent and the Israelis have rejected almost entirely — if the road map terms are accepted, then we can have peace in the Middle East.”

Spying On Garbage

Post From Nov 26, 2006:

Now there are spy cameras at the UK's rubbish dumps:
Spy cameras are being installed at household rubbish dumps to check what residents are throwing away and to fine those breaking recycling rules.

The sophisticated CCTV systems are capable of reading and storing car number plates to identify who is using the dump, how often, and what they are disposing of.

The Mail on Sunday has already exposed the electronic 'bugs' secretly planted in hundreds of thousands of household wheelie bins.

Now sophisticated internet-controlled cameras are being installed at waste sites across the country. Officially they are to improve security, but council chiefs admit they will also monitor who is visiting the tips.

Several councils also say they will use camera evidence to mount prosecutions - raising fears more householders will be taken to court over what they throw away. In Hertfordshire about 30 cameras have been installed at dumps, allowing council officials to check vehicle registration plates.

Cameras have been imposed after the Government last year introduced a penalty of £150 a tonne on local authorities that dump too much waste in landfill sites.
and someone with a brain over there said this...
Last night, Shami Chakrabarti, director of human rights group Liberty, said: "CCTV should only be used to protect high security installations - not to monitor a dump.

"This whole area is very poorly regulated. When you install an automatic number plate recognition system you are tracking people's movements.

"You need proper justification before you track people. I don't see how it is proportionate to use that kind of surveillance in the context of a recycling centre."

UK police monitoring conversations on streets

Post From Nov 26, 2006:

Here's the source:
POLICE and councils are considering monitoring conversations in the street using high-powered microphones attached to CCTV cameras, write Steven Swinford and Nicola Smith.

The microphones can detect conversations 100 yards away and record aggressive exchanges before they become violent.

The devices are used at 300 sites in Holland and police, councils and transport officials in London have shown an interest in installing them before the 2012 Olympics.

The interest in the equipment comes amid growing concern that Britain is becoming a “surveillance society”. It was recently highlighted that there are more than 4.2m CCTV cameras, with the average person being filmed more than 300 times a day. The addition of microphones would take surveillance into uncharted territory."
Let that soak in a bit. There are 4.2 million surveillence cameras alone on the tiny island of Brittain. And now they are not happy with just WATCHING you, they want to listen in on your private conversations and hunt you down based on what you say on the public street.

If we are not now living in that Orwellian Society, then we are living in Cinderella's storybook. As a people, we must decide what kind of life we are going to live. Are we going to live in a society that constantly thinks that we are criminals and has to surveill us every where we go? Or, are we a society that believes people are innocent before being found guilty in THE COURTS? Are we going to keep accepting the eroding of our liberties and the growing power of federal authoritarian powers?

Palestinians Stuffing Toys With Explosives

Post From Nov 25, 2006:

Palestinians Stuffing Toys With Explosives
Next up from the Palestinian freedom fighters, the toy we all wish we had as a kid: C-4 Play-Doh!

Palestinian terrorists are busy building stuffed-animal bombs, yet the international community continues to believe that Israel is a terrorist state? What a bizarro Orwellian world we live in. Black = white, war = peace, intentionally murdering civilians = the right of self determintation, killing terrorists = terrorism. Will the UN demand an investigation into Palestinian terrorists violating the Geneva Conventions? Right.

Overnight Friday, IDF troops and Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) operatives uncovered a number of baby dolls filled with explosive charges in addition to suicide bombing belts during an raid on an explosives laboratory in Nablus.... Among the materials seized in the raid were sacks ready to be filled with explosives, 40 liters of acid, and a variety of explosives-rigged stuffed animals."

Whites Only Scholarship Creates Outrage

Post From Nov 24, 2006:

Whites Only Scholarship Creates Outrage
BOSTON, Nov. 22, 2006 — Joe Mroszczyk, president of the College Republicans at Boston University, admits he set out to stir up a hornet's nest when he came up with the idea of offering a whites-only scholarship at the school. But he got a little more buzz than he bargained for.

"To tell you the truth, we didn't see this coming," Mroszczyk said. "The Drudge Report picked it up yesterday, and today I just finished a round of national interviews. It's kind of overwhelming."

All the media attention is focused on a $250 Caucasian Achievement and Recognition Scholarship offered by Mroszczyk and the BU chapter of the College Republicans. Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher; they must write two essays; and, here's the kicker, they must be at least one-quarter Caucasian.

The application itself offers an explanation: "We believe that racial preferences in all their forms are perhaps the worst form of bigotry confronting America today."
YEEEEAAAHHHH!!!!

IN YOUR FACE !!!!!

It is about time someone stood up against this race-based crap. Why is it ok, fine and dandy to have scholarships, etc. for blacks, hispanics and women, but NOT OK, and potentially racially motivated, to have the exact same programs for white persons?!?!?

Who is crying foul now?? Who is seeing racism??

Take race out of everything. If the liberals and democrats truly want a color-blind society, then take race out of everything. Take the question of race off of applications for employment. Take the question of race off of government applications for welfare. Stop mentioning people by their color first; "Mr. Steele, the black republican running for office...". STOP IT !! If you want to have an end to racism then stop pointing out people's race every chance you get!!!

95% of the people in this nation do not care about a person's race. Even when you look at the illegal alien issue it is not about race discrimination. It is about a segment of the population that should not be here LEGALLY!!! They broke the law to get here and are refusing to adopt the American lifestyle. Even many legals are refusing to adopt the American lifstyle that entails speaking english, paying taxes, being self-supportive, supporting the troops, and defending America.

Observing differences is about ideologies. These illegals have different ideologies than those who wish to integrate into our society. Liberals and socialists have different ideologies than those Americans who love our country. That is what needs to be pointed out and highlighted. Not the color of their skin. The color of a person's skin does not make a person. The color of their skin does not determine their ideologies. Their character does.

I am proud and happy that someone has come up with a plan to shove this hypocrisy in their faces. Way to go BU Republicans !!!

"Grandma got blown up by her bomb belt"
(To the obvious tune....)

Grandma got blown up by her bomb belt
While her grandkids stayed at home and played
She tried to get much closer to the soldiers
But they threw her a tiny stun grenade

She woke up today in Jebaliya
Took her farewell picture with her gun
To liberals she's just another victim
And exactly as militant as a nun

Grandma got blown up by her bomb belt
As she tried to commit genocide
She really hoped she'd be more successful
But happily, only Grandma has died

64 years old was fatal Fatma
Daughter Fatheya somehow 52
Do the math and you'll get some answers
But easier for her to blame the Jews

Grandma got blown up by her bomb belt
As she tried to kill a dozen Jews
You might think that she became a martyr
But now all of the PalArabs lose

Of course Hamas is very proud of Grandma
They said this was meant to be a surprise
The IDF will now make all Pal lives worse
but the liberal media will always sympathize.

Grandma got blown up by her bomb belt
Muslims think this way to heaven leads
But Grandma didn't think quite through her bargain
As she gets screwed by all last year's Shaheeds.

Who Needs The Constitution

Another Post From Nov 22. 2006:

From Dan Riehl's "Riehl World View":
Who needs to read the Constitution when you have the New York Times interpreting it for you.

As a last little gift to America, Senator George Allen, who was narrowly defeated by James Webb this month, has introduced what may be his final piece of legislation: a bill that would allow the carrying of concealed weapons in national parks.

America’s confusion about the Second Amendment is now nearly total. An amendment that ensures a collective right to bear arms has been misread in one legislature after another — often in the face of strong public disapproval — as a law guaranteeing an individual’s right to carry a weapon in public.
The Press always seems a bit more constructionist when it comes to Amendment One. And ironic that they want their rights observed, just not the ones that apply more to us common folk who have so much trouble understanding the Constitution.

Rise Of Govt Nannies

Post From Nov 22, 2006:

From NY1.com:
"The NYPD has installed a patrol tower in a Harlem neighborhood in an effort to cut crime in the high-risk neighborhood.

The two-story booth tower, called Sky Watch, gives the officer sitting inside a better vantage point from which to monitor the area. Officers in the booth have access to a spotlight, sensors, and four cameras. The tower is portable and can be moved to the areas that need it most.

Police say the Harlem tower was placed there to combat a rise in murders.

Sky Watch has also been tested in Crown Heights in Brooklyn where it reduced crime. Police are hoping to have three more towers soon."
So, now they are going to turn our cities into Gulags?? Search lights and guard posts?!!?
What next?? Station guards in our own homes??!?! The British military tried that on us around 300 years ago and that lead to a war of INDEPENDENCE!!

This has gone on far too long. The powers gained by the police authority have grown far too great. There may be reasons to monitor out-of-country phone calls to terrorists, but to station cameras in public places to monitor everyone around is just anti-constitutional.

Time is coming for a electoral revolt. The election of democrats in 2006 to the Senate and the House was more about kicking out the entranced Republicans than the election of socialist Democrats. This was more of ending corruption and Big Boy political cronyism. Until the elected begin representing the constitution and the American people, they will continue to be replaced. Unfortunately, those that will be replacing them tend to be far worse; being anti-American social-communistic Democrats who are all about controlling your lives and making sure you conform to the limits that they see fit to place on human existence.

AZ GOV: SCREW YOU VOTERS !!!

Post From Nov 13, 2006:

From the blog Diggers Realm:
"Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano says that no matter what the residents of her state say, she's going to continue on her view of allowing illegal immigration to continue. Residents of Arizona voted on four propositions related to illegal immigration on November 7th and passed all four overwhelmingly by more than 70%.

Included in the Propositions were two that she vetoed in 2005, including Proposition 300 - Denying Illegal Aliens In-State Tuition, Taxpayer Funded Adult Education, Child Care - and Proposition 103 - declaring English the official language of Arizona. The other two Propositions that passed were Proposition 100- Denying bail to criminal illegal aliens and Proposition 102 - denying civil lawsuits for illegal aliens.

The Arizona people spoke and Governor Napolitano apparently doesn't care what they think, because "she's right"."
Napolitano, however, said she does not consider any of the votes a rejection of her policies. "They expressed their opinion," she said. "And I disagree."

Napolitano said voters "are going to disagree with me from time to
time.""

But Napolitano, who has argued for only a limited role for the state in dealing with border crossers, said the votes will not change how she deals with the issue in the next four years."

What an arrogant and egotistical person!!! How can an elected official completely disregard her voters and the law. These were voted on by the voters and are meant to be enacted by the executive branch. If she fails to uphold the duties of her office, then she needs to be impeached.

This just goes to show you how the Democrats view voter's rights and wishes!!

Health Check

Post From Nov 13, 2006:

Well, I think I have finally figured out some of the things I am allergic to. This process has taken me several years now and NUMEROUS bottles of pepto. Most of these items I know I have a "problem" with, and the last I am still experimenting with.

Peanut Butter
Raw Peanuts
Beef - more than a hamburger worth
Red Sauce with spices
Coffee

I can eat cooked peanuts - like those found in Baby Ruth bar - but not uncooked ones. It treats me just like the peanut butter. I am not allergic to it in the sense of a peanut allergy, but it creates a big painful lump within my stomach and just sit there. I will occasionaly get indigestion from it.

The last three (beef, red sauce with spices, and coffee) cause my system to be flushed out repeatedly. Now, I can handle normal quantities of these items, but any bit more and I suffer. I can eat a regular hamburger, or a steak, and be just fine. But, give me 2 hamburgers, or hamburger helper made with >1 pound of meat, or a BBQ feast and I will be miserable for days. Just like with peanuts, I will get this knot/plug in my stomach that will painfully sit there until it sloooowwwlly leaves my system.

So far, I have not had any coffee over the last month or so and I have been healthier during that time. I still need to conduct an experiement with just coffee to see if it affects my system. It could be just a coincidence that I was drinking coffee during the period of time that my stomach was not happy.

So, I have been eating more chicken and pork lately.

I still have not figured out what it was in one of those boxed-bake-dinner meals that caused me to be violently ill moments after eating it.

My back continues to be a problem and causing me to be less active than I want to be. I am unable to jog at all. My muscles continue to atrophy due to my inactivity. Sitting in a chair at work numerous hours a day and sitting in a chair at home working on a computer for school assignments does not help my situation much either.

And now that my waterbed is gone to water-heaven, sleeping on an air mattress isn't the best thing in the world for my back either. However, I must say that it is more comfortable than alot of regular beds I have slept in (thinking of the many luxury hotel beds I have slept in over last few years). So, for now, I continue to gain weight and lose muscle strength. I am really hoping that my next job will place me near a gym. Ideal situation would be to work for an organization that has a gym located on its campus.

Throwing Money Into A Swamp

Another Post From Nov 12, 206:

From the UPI:
"Government officials and homeowners are upset by a $7.5 billion rebuilding program's pace more than a year after Hurricane Katrina hit Louisiana.

Though about 79,000 families applied to the Road Home program, only 1,721 have been told how much money they'll receive, the New York Times said. Just 22 received access to the cash provided by the federal government and distributed through the state. Homeowners who rebuild or buy new houses are eligible for grants of up to $150,000 to uninsured losses."
Now, that is totally.... believable. And utter nonsense. There is no reason that after over a year since the storm, only 22 people/families have been given money out of the $7.5 billion dollar grant program?!?! But then, this is the federal government.

Here's a question... why have insurance when the government is just going to give them free money. Wait, wasn't this the point of having flood insurance? If they didn't have flood or home insurance, then why are they being rewarded with free money??

Now, you may ask, why doesnt the state of Louisiana or the city of New Orleans do something for their own residents. Good question....
"New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin expressed dissatisfaction with the program's pace, announcing earlier this month that the city was developing a plan to lend money to people waiting for Road Home grants, the Times said.

A similar program in Mississippi also has been plagued by many of the same problems, the Times said. New data from this program showed it so far has paid $320.6 million in 5,201 grants."
Wait. If New Orleans is sitting on money that they can give away as loans as part of their loan shark program, they why aren't they helping more of their own citizens themselves? New Orleans can apply for these types of grants themselves and help their people themselves.

The article states that the Mississippi program is also suffering through problems. But, how can it be the same when New Orleans does not even have a program yet. And, the federal program in MI has helped over 5,000 people/families compared to 22 in Lousiana. Now, which one has failed?

Using simple math, MI has paid out on average $61,641 per pay-out. Wow, those must be some expensive houses. Wait, how come these people only were insured for part of their home's value?? Is that even possible? You know, you could get a nice small single family home for that amount of money in OK. Is this program spending massive amounts of federal monies to buy people's houses for them. Or, would the federal government still hold the rights to these houses?!?!

Isn't there a federal law that forbids the govt from giving money for constructing in flood-prone areas? Thought so!

Flying the Unfriendly/Uncaring Skies

Post From Nov 12, 2006:

From NY Times:
"Since Aug. 10, when a ban on most carry-on liquids sent the amount of checked luggage soaring, airlines have been misplacing many more bags, and the fumbling could well escalate during the busy holiday travel season.

The Transportation Department reported that 107,731 more fliers had their bags go missing in August than they did a year earlier, a 33 percent increase. It got worse in September, with 183,234 more passengers suffering mishandled bags than a year earlier, up 92 percent.

Globally, about 30 million bags are mishandled each year, according to SITA, a company that sells software to airlines and airports for baggage and other systems. Airlines spend about $2.5 billion to find those bags and deliver them to waiting, often angry, passengers."
So, can you think of where and why this might be happening?
"Efforts are under way to fix two of the worst baggage operations in the United States — at US Airways in Philadelphia and at Atlantic Southeast Airlines, which operates as Delta Connection here (in NY). Both airlines had scrimped on workers and equipment at these airports. Many of the bag-handling problems are because of the industry’s cost-cutting. US Airways, twice in bankruptcy since Sept. 11, 2001, and then merged a year ago with America West Airlines, had a baggage meltdown at its Philadelphia hub around Christmas of 2004. Executives said they had known they needed to add people and equipment there."
So, few too people to get the job done? Nah, that couldn't be the reason. Could it? How about just sheer laziness and complacency? No incentive for improvement. No repurcusion for failure.

I have a question.........

Another Post From Nov 11, 2006:

How can this economy be really bad if people are buying plasma TVs like crazy, spending millions going to movies, filling football and basketball stands, spending billions on video games and music..... and will spend billions when playstation 3 comes out next week.

How can anyone think this economy has a problem???

How Lunacy Spreads Contagiously With Dems

Post from Nov 11, 2006:

From an article in the New York Times:
(where to start???)
"The newly elected Democratic class of 2006, which is set to descend on the Capitol next week, will hardly be the first freshmen to arrive in Washington promising to make a difference. Many in the class of 2006, especially those who delivered the new Democratic majorities by winning Republican seats, show little appetite for that kind of ideological crusade. But in interviews with nearly half of them this week, the freshmen — 41 in the House and 9 in the Senate, including one independent — conveyed a keen sense of their own moment in history, and a distinct world view.
World view?!?!? Here it goes again, that sense that only other countries opinions count. The need to consult other nations on how to run ours. The need to seek legal rulings from socialized nations on how to rule on cases in our republic. So, they have no appetite for having an ideological opinion? In other words, they don't take a stand on anything? Hmm, based on what they say in the article, they sure take a stand on the side of "tax the rich, socialize the nation".
Now, they say, they have to produce — to deal with long-festering problems like access to affordable health care and the loss of manufacturing jobs, and to find a bipartisan consensus for an exit strategy in Iraq, a source of continuing division not only between but also within the parties.
The long-festering problems are mainly due to spineless congress-persons. And, just because you want "affordable health care" (a euphamism for nationalized health care) does not mean there is stagnation in the Congress. It is because we don't want it. If Rep. Bernie Sanders wanted to institute Communism, it would not be stagnation if it would never become reality within our borders. But then, these people did get voted into office even though everyone knows their political leanings. These people ran on socialistic platform. They agressively promoted their desires to turn this nation into a FORMER world power by removing its work-base by the act of killing euntrepeneurship, innovation, capitalism, invention, creativity and self-choice.
Many of them say they must also, somehow, find a way to address the growing anxiety among voters about a global economy that no longer seems to work for them. There is a strong populist tinge to this class.
For example? Please, give an example of how the GLOBAL economy has failed to work for AMERICAN workers? I'm waiting? Please tell me how these senators can affect positive change in Uzbekistan that will cause an increase in the salary of Mr. Smith in America?!?!?
Claire McCaskill, who defeated Senator Jim Talent of Missouri in a fiercely competitive race, said: “I’m not from a blue echo chamber. I’m from a state that’s really like America — it’s divided.”

“The problem with Washington,” Ms. McCaskill added, “is you have so many senators who are from bright blue and bright red states; they’re not interested in common ground. They’re interested in making each other look bad.”
Oh yeah, she ran real clean nice commercials. Tell that to Talent who was lied about on stem cell support!!! LIAR!! And why should there be a common ground on ill-conceived, immoral, anti-christian ideals that your party is trying to push? If a bad guy were to come up to you and threaten to kill himself or you, would you try to find a common ground?? Would you insist that he just wound both of you? Or would you insist that you shoot yourself with your gun and he can shoot with his gun?? There is nothing wrong with holding onto an idea, a belief-system, that you will defend with every fiber of your being. Are you saying that Christians should be willing to find common ground with those who are beheading us?
"Heath Shuler, for example, the former professional football player and newly elected House Democrat from North Carolina, is anti-abortion and pro-gun, but sounds like an old-style Democrat on economic issues.
Thus the reason why he won his seat. He ran on a conservative platform compared to the do-nothing republicans that have been in office. No surprise there.
“I was taught at a very, very young age about faith and personal responsibility, and through that, that responsibility was about helping those who cannot help themselves,” Mr. Shuler said. “If you look at what the Democratic Party stands for, it is about helping others who can’t help themselves.”
Umm.. even if that means they dont want or need your help?? How many people that you claim are without healthcare insurance don't really want it? I went without insurance for 2 years because it was not within my budget or my current plan of living at the time. Why force the few rich of the nation to pay for a government-based health insurance when I was OK with not having any in the first place?
Like other Democrats, he supports legislation to increase the minimum wage and make college tuition tax deductible. He also opposes trade agreements that he says have led to a 78 percent loss in textile industry jobs in his state."
great.... Ummm, college tuition is already partly tax-deductible. And, they want to raise minimum wage, causing the price of goods and services to go up, then turn around and increase the tax deductions???? How do they think of things like this? So, with an ever increasing economy, with more and more good paying jobs around, they want to raise the min. wage for those 2% of people still under min wage!?!?!?
"Carol Shea-Porter, a social worker and new House member from New Hampshire who considers herself a populist, said, “The theme of my campaign was, I’m running for the rest of us.” She added that no matter how much the Bush administration boasted of job growth, her voters “understood those were Wal-Mart jobs.” And, she said, “They understood when they talked about the stock market boom, that half of Americans aren’t even in the stock market.”
.........ummm. Wal-Mart jobs are good jobs if you don't have one, you freakin socialist commy idiot!! And, there wouldn't be jobs out there if the stock market was not as strong as it is, you stupid large anti-american cow!! Without cash flow and investments, businesses can not expand or hire more people, you uneducated moronic loser!! GAWD!!!!! There is no reason that people have to invest in "the stock market" in order to gain the benefits from it. Just as those not in the stock market feel the loss of jobs when stock markets crash. Are you suggesting that the federal government give low-income people a portion of their welfare alotment in the form of stocks? Or, are you saying that a person must invest in a company before they can become gainfully employed??
"That economic populism extends, for many candidates, to a new emphasis on expanding health coverage. Congressional Democrats who lived through the Clinton administration’s failed effort to create a national health insurance plan, which many believe was a crucial factor in the Democrats’ losses in 1994, have been wary of broad health legislation for years. But the class of ’06 is adamant that something major can, and will, be done.

Dave Loebsack, a political science professor in Iowa who unseated the veteran Republican moderate, Representative Jim Leach, said he intended to sign on to proposed legislation to create a single-payer, national health insurance program “as one of the first things I will do when I get to Congress."
A university professor beat out a long standing republican??!?!?!? OH GEESH...

Well, here comes the push again for nationalized health care. A system that has never worked well wherever it has been in place. Where is the incentive to find the best deals? Where is the incentive to invest in the top-rated health care technologies? Where is the incentive for companies to spend billions researching new techniques and medicine? Our country is the site of most of the progress in medicine. Those seeking major medical care come to America. How many times have world leaders come to our country for medical treatment? For as long as the government has sought to control medical care expenses in this country, it has started on its trek toward mediocrity. If the president does not veto this thing, there will be a revolt in this nation that we have not seen since civil war.
"Steven Kagen, an allergist who won a Wisconsin district that has been represented by a Republican for much of the past 30 years, campaigned on a “No Patient Left Behind” plan. “This issue has blurred the lines between the two parties,” Mr. Kagen said. “You don’t have to be a Republican or a Democrat to be ill, and to understand that the health care system doesn’t work.”
So, are you saying that everyone in America is sick because they can't get treatment? And, can you be a bit more specific about what is not working in our health care system? Billing? Transportation? Cleanliness? What is it?? I mean, there are plenty of things to point out here that need improvement. If you can't be more specific about what you are referring to, I can't understand your statement. Maybe you are referring to the fact that trillions of dollars are being spent on the care of illegals who refuse or can't repay. Or, are these the people you want to enroll in the new nationalized health care system??
Mr. Kagen is one of several new House members urging a renewed commitment to the more than eight million uninsured children in the United States, an issue that will move to the forefront when the State Children’s Health Insurance Program comes up for renewal next year. "
Dear gawd......there is a huge push now, more than during clinton years for turning our nation into a true and final socialized nation like Canada and Brittain. And, most normal thinking people know how well those nations take care of the health of their people. There is already a push to make our nation part of a 3-nation UNION. A North American Union. A union that will utterly destroy us internally.
" Most of these new Democrats said they were also committed to changes in the new Medicare prescription drug program; in fact, giving the government the power to negotiate prices with drug companies is one of the first items of business in the Democrats’ “Six for ’06 Agenda.” The agenda also includes an increase in the minimum wage and expansion of embryonic stem cell research.

The new Democrats say they have high hopes of building bipartisan coalitions for these changes in Medicare, for expanding embryonic stem cell research, and for other parts of their agenda. “I’m still scratching my head” over Mr. Bush’s veto of last year’s stem cell bill, said Ed Perlmutter, a former state senator who won a House district in the Denver suburbs."
And you will continue to scratch your head because murdering babies for the sake of research will never happen by the fed govt, you evil snake."

The World Hates Us for Being Sanitary

Last post from Nov 10, 2006?:

Do you want to know why most of the world hates us here in America?
"The humble flush toilet, taken for granted in most rich countries, could be a cheap but powerful tool to slash childhood deaths and boost global development, a U.N. report said Thursday.

The annual report of the U.N. Development Program said that lack of access to clean water and basic sanitation in a third of the world killed nearly 2 million children each year. This amounted to nearly 5,000 deaths per day, most of them preventable, and made diarrhea the second biggest childhood killer.

"No access to sanitation is a polite way of saying that people draw water for drinking, cooking and washing from rivers, lakes, ditches and drains fouled with human and animal excrement," said Kevin Watkins, the main author.

The report cited Peruvian studies that the installation of a flush toilet in the home increased by almost 60 percent the chances of a child surviving to the first birthday and in Egypt by 57 percent.

It said that 2.4 billion people have no access to sanitation and 1 billion people have no access to clean water. Many of those without adequate water used about a gallon per day, compared to about 50 gallons in Europe and about 100 gallons in the United States."
Just look at how they are changing our culture. Many places are now being forced to put HOLES in the floors of their bathrooms becaue that is how these people go to the bathroom..... by standing over a hole in the floor. Well, if they can't change our culture on the top side, they will change it from the bottom... up.
